Érdi bőtermő is a Hungarian sour cherry variety, bred from a cross of Pándy and Nagy Angol — one of Hungary's most important sour cherry varieties, known in North America as "Danube".
Fruit
Large, dark red fruit with firm flesh, noted for an unusually sweet flavour for a sour cherry, suited to both fresh eating and processing.

Early ripening for a sour cherry.
Tree characteristics
A very productive variety — it has come to account for roughly a third of Hungary's annual sour cherry production — but also known to be more susceptible to Monilinia (brown rot), worth monitoring in the orchard.
