Williams Rouge Delbard is a red-skinned sport of the Williams (Bartlett) pear, developed and marketed by the French nursery Georges Delbard, released in 1967 — also sold under the name "Homored®".
Fruit
Large fruit with white, tender, juicy flesh and a balanced sweet-tart flavour; red skin over a green background at harvest, turning yellow as the fruit ripens.
Approximate ripening period
Late summer to early autumn (late August/early September, per the originating source).
