Grafted nectarine tree seedlings (Prunus persica var. nucipersica), grown at our nursery in Jora de Sus, Orhei, Republic of Moldova.
Nectarine (Prunus persica var. nucipersica) is, botanically, a smooth-skinned peach variety with no fuzz. We graft our nectarine seedlings onto Almond rootstock.
Nectarine has similar requirements to peach — a sunny position and well-drained soil — with the Almond rootstock giving good tolerance of drier soils.
