Apricot (Prunus armeniaca) is grown for its sweet, fragrant fruit, which ripens early in the season. We graft our apricot seedlings onto apricot-seedling rootstock, ready for planting in home orchards or larger plantings.
Apricot is sensitive to excess soil moisture and to late spring frosts. On well-exposed, well-drained sites — common across much of Orhei district — it grows well in Moldova's climate.
